Born in 2001 in Gaziantep, M. Tahir Akkurt is currently studying in the Photography Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.

Since 2019, I have been working in the fields of photography and installation. My work focuses on themes of society, urbanity, sociology, and memory, aiming to visualize the transformation processes of individual and collective memory. While addressing events I have experienced or witnessed, I strive to provide the audience not just a narrative but a space for inquiry.

In my commercial work, I specialize in the fields of architecture, decoration, and event photography.
